The Bell HP77 is based on the highly successful HP7 design, proven across multiple Formula 1 World Championships. The HP77 is chosen by many professional open‑wheel drivers and delivers an exceptionally high level of protection. The helmet features a very narrow visor opening with reinforced ballistic materials integrated for increased protection. The HP77 was the first helmet to meet the FIA 8860-2018-ABP-norm. Thanks to its lightweight construction, excellent aerodynamics, efficient ventilation and advanced anti‑fog system, the HP77 has been developed for the extreme conditions of open‑cockpit racing in all weather. Homologation: FIA 8860-2018 ABP Full‑face helmet with an ultra‑lightweight FIA 8860-2018 ABP shell, manufactured from very strong high‑strength and high‑modulus carbon fibres. Very narrow visor opening for increased protection. Front section with integrated ballistic materials for extra protection against flying debris and objects. Advanced multi‑density, multi‑piece interior lining for maximum energy absorption and optimal impact protection. Optically superior injected Double Screen Anti‑Fog (DSAF) visor for excellent visibility and fog protection. Powerful ventilation system at the top and chin with 12 air intake and exhaust channels for maximum airflow. Air intake system with a two‑piece central inlet and low‑profile side inlets, fitted as standard. Shell and visor design optimised for improved aerodynamics, reduced internal noise and enhanced energy absorption. Integrated channels in the chin area for various hydration system and communications system configurations. Upper spoiler and gurneys for the top and chin areas available separately. HANS/FHR anchors fitted as standard from the factory. Synthetic rubber sealing to keep water and dirt out of the helmet.
