Arai GVP-R White The Arai GPV-R helmet has been developed according to Arai’s leading safety philosophy and delivers maximum protection on the track. Thanks to its extremely round, smooth outer shell following the Egg Shaped Form (ESF), impact energy is effectively dispersed in a crash. Rather than stopping abruptly, the helmet slides along the surface, significantly reducing harmful rotational forces on the head and neck. The GPV-R features the advanced VAS (Variable Axis System) visor mechanism. By locating the pivot point lower, the upper part of the helmet remains stronger and rounder, improving structural integrity. In addition, the 8 mm higher visor opening provides a larger vertical field of view — ideal for drivers in a low seating position. The interior has been completely renewed and designed for comfort and ease of use. The lining is removable and washable, while the cheek pads are prepared for communication equipment. The central mouth pad makes it easy to fit a hydration system. For a perfect fit, both the lining and cheek pads are optionally available in different thicknesses. For use with a HANS system, the helmet is fitted with M6 anchor points, making installation straightforward.
