Arai GP-J3 Open Face Helmet – Safety and Comfort for Closed Vehicles The Arai GP-J3 is an open face helmet specifically developed for use in closed vehicles such as touring cars. It delivers an optimal combination of safety, effective ventilation and high comfort. The helmet features an advanced ventilation system and competition-oriented construction. The interior features a removable Nomex lining and comfortable, precisely fitting cheek pads that ensure a snug fit around the face, enhancing both comfort and helmet stability while driving. The advanced ventilation system includes three closable intakes at the front and two at the rear, designed to provide maximum airflow with minimal turbulence. The lining is made from high-quality flame-retardant materials such as Carbon Nit, Nomex and Conex, offering a very comfortable fit that conforms to the contours of the head. The polystyrene inner shell protects the head by absorbing impact energy evenly. An Arai helmet’s inner shell has three to five zones of different densities, specifically tailored to protect the various areas of the skull. For over twenty years Arai has been the only manufacturer able to produce a multi-density inner shell as a single integral component. Note: Also available in black.
